Page Turner ANIMAL Adventures Virtual Summer Library Program! June 14 – July 23

The entire program remains available until September 7th in our Facebook group, so you can still check it out!

We’re excited to be partnering with Page Turner Adventures to offer the community a six-week interactive learning experience for children grades K-3! Kids can follow along to virtually participate in animal-themed comedy shows, field trips, create “paw-some” crafts, and mix up some cool recipes. Beginning June 14th through the week of July 19th, a new daily program will be available by 10 am, Monday through Friday, by following the link posted in our Facebook Group Brewer Public Library Virtual Summer Program 2021. The program is free to the community and does not require a library card!

On Facebook, just search for Brewer Public Library Virtual Summer Program 2021, and ask to join.

Page Turner Adventures is an Emmy award winning children’s television and live show production company, focusing on producing great content that is hilarious and gets kids excited about READING! The stars of the show are Jill Ross Nadler (aka Page Turner) – a storyteller and author, and Kenny Mikey – a former Ringling Bros. Circus clown.

Outdoor Storytime and Virtual Storytime

Storytime is geared toward a preschool audience, but all ages are of course welcome! This summer we are meeting outdoors on the library lawn, Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m., beginning June 9th. Virtual Storytime has the same theme and will continue to post in our Facebook Group: Brewer Public Library Storytime Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. Take-home craft/activity kits are available from the library with each new storytime.

Visit the StoryWalk®

StoryWalk® is an innovative and delightful way for children — and adults! — to enjoy reading and the outdoors at the same time. Read the pages from a children’s book posted along an outdoor path. As you stroll along, you’re directed to the next page in the story. Richland Center’s new StoryWalk® is located along the Rotary Lights path in Krouskop Park.
